About the Author
Jessica Fridrich is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Binghamton University, State University of New York (SUNY), where she has worked since receiving her PhD from there in 1995. Since then, her research on data embedding and steganalysis has led to more than 85 papers and seven US patents. She also received the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Research in 2007 and Award for Outstanding Inventor in 2002. Her main research interests are in steganography and steganalysis of digital media, digital watermarking, and digital image forensics.

Good book on Stego

So far I like this book, but I have one complaint. The algorithms described in the book are terrible psuedo code from an understanding perspective. I spent a long time looking at an algorithm trying to understand the variables (which are not commented in the code or the text) and the process only to finally realize it was a very simple procedure. It just seems like the author could have taken a little bit more time to clarify a few of the algorithms, but otherwise from my knowledge the author is one of the leading experts in the field and there is some really good information in this book. Just sharing my frustrations.

About the Author
Dr David M. Pritchard is Senior Lecturer in the School of History, Philosophy, Religion and Classics at the University of Queensland. He has held research fellowships at Macquarie University, the University of Copenhagen and the University of Sydney. In 2013 Dr Pritchard was the Charles Gordon Mackay Lecturer in Greek at the University of Edinburgh. He has authored Sport, Democracy and War in Classical Athens (Cambridge University Press, 2013) and co-edited Sport and Festival in the Ancient Greek World (2003). He is currently finishing a monograph on public spending in democratic Athens.

Furthermore, the suddenness and simultaneity of their appearance point to a commonality that transcended the localities. Arguing that revolutions are time-bound phenomena whose forms follow global models in vogue at particular historical junctures, the book challenges the ahistorical and purely local understanding of them. Furthermore, it provides a strong case that macrostructural preconditions alone cannot explain the occurrence of revolutions; rather, global waves, intervention of agency, and additional contingent events work together to bring them about in competition with other possible outcomes. Beyond concern for how and why revolutions happen, the book offers a comparative account of the process of institutionalizing constitutionalism in two settings. The comparison highlights many similarities in the powers struggles, including the paradox inherent in the "constitutional revolutions." About the Author
Emily Brady is Reader in Aesthetics at the Institute of Geography and Environment and an Academic Associate in Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh. Her research interests include environmental aesthetics (nature, art, cultural landscapes and everyday life), environmental ethics, Kant and eighteenth-century philosophy. Brady is author of Aesthetics of the Natural Environment (2003) and co-editor of Aesthetic Concepts: Essays after Sibley (2001), Humans in the Land: The Ethics and Aesthetics of the Cultural Landscape (2008) and Human-Environment Relations: Transformative Values in Theory and Practice. Brady has been a Laurance S. Rockefeller Faculty Fellow at Princeton University's Center for Human Values and is a past president of the International Society for Environmental Ethics. She has been an associate editor of Environmental Values and a co-editor of Society and Space and has also served as secretary, treasurer and executive committee member of the British Society of Aesthetics.

About the Author
Dr Ron Bekkerman is a computer engineer and scientist whose experience spans across disciplines from video processing to business intelligence. Currently a senior research scientist at LinkedIn, he previously worked for a number of major companies including Hewlett-Packard and Motorola. In Vox Latina and Vox Graeca Professor Allen was concerned primarily with the pronunciation of the individual vowels and consonants of classical Latin and Greek. The description and explanation of such features raise theoretical problems of very general importance and Professor Allen devotes the first part of the book to the establishment of the phonetic principles required as a frame of reference for the specific discussions of Latin and Greek. This is a book of permanent importance for students of classical languages and literatures and also for metricians, phoneticians and general linguists.

Lionel Bently is Herchel Smith Professor of Intellectual Property Law, Director of the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law, and Professorial Fellow at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge.

Jennifer Davis is Herchel Smith College Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law and a member of the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law, University of Cambridge. She is also a Fellow of Wolfson College, Cambridge.

Jane Ginsburg is Morton L. Janklow Professor of Literary and Artistic Property Law and Director of the Kernochan Center for Law, Media and the Arts at the Columbia University School of Law. She is also an Honorary Fellow of Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge.
